This past week was filled with Ball Camps. The boys each were allowed to pick one sports camp to participate in this summer. (They were excited to participate in a sport during the school year, but because of our move half way through the year we missed sign up dates).
Carter, our youngest, chose baseball camp. He never had really played- except PE at school- and was excited to participate.
They both learned a lot. It was interesting to see the different "styles" of each camp. One was definitely very structured with a lot of skill practice, and the other ball camp was relaxed and focused on having fun while doing the work.
Tyler's choice was basketball. He plays almost every evening after school with the 8th grade neighbor boy. Now that school is out, they try to catch each other to play at least a couple times a week.
Tyler learned all kinds of dribbling skills, and was excited to use them on grandpa. :0) During the camp, he even had the privilege of winning a couple of awards for his grade level.
Next week.............. Horse camp for Brittany!
